This list is all about the most addictive mobile games you can play daily to keep yourself busy from time to time.

These are mobile games you can play in short sessions.

They offer endless gameplay value.

And they are perfect for when you are bored and need to kill a few minutes.

You won’t find deep RPGs or online multiplayer battle royale games on this list. If you’re looking for those, you can check out my other list.

Here, you’ll find small yet addicting mobile games that get you to come back over and over. Most of these are my favorites and there are a couple of my wife’s favorites too.

All of these games are available on both the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store.

1. Offline Games

Offline Games

  • Price: Free

This is probably the only game you need to download from this list because it actually includes dozens of mini games inside.

It’s actually a collection of mini games, like Wordle, Spades, Checkers, and various other color-matching, card games, number-matching, and loads of puzzle games.

This game has kept me company on various occasions, like waiting at the doctor’s, riding the bus, and especially during power cuts. Because this game collection works best without the Internet.

2. House Flipper

House Flipper

  • Price: Free

The idea of cleaning up dirty houses, renovating, and selling for profit sounds boring but this game makes it a pretty fun experience.

The cleaning and house renovation activities in the game are quite soothing and satisfying. That’s how it gets you hooked on the game.

House Flipper is actually a great PC game, and surprisingly enough, it’s available on mobile platforms for absolutely free of charge.

There aren’t forceful ads in this game, and you can enjoy it freely without having to worry about paywalls.

3. Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor

Deep Rock Galactic Mobile

  • Price: Free / $9.99

Deep Rock Galactic is one of my favorite PC games and when this game launched on mobile I grabbed it immediately.

It’s a rogue-like bullet-hell game with some cool mechanics like farming materials and extracting before time runs out.

It has addictive gameplay mechanics that gets you to replay over and over to level up your gear and character.

The free version of the game gives access to many base levels. You can buy the game to access all the levels.

4. Good Pizza, Great Pizza

Good Pizza, Great Pizza

  • Price: Free

My wife swears by this game as one of the best mobile games ever made (press X for doubt).

Good Pizza, Great Pizza is actually a pretty chill game. It’s about making pizza and handling customer orders.

The pizza-making process in this game is apparently quite satisfying and highly detailed.

If you enjoy chill games, this one might be right up your alley.

5. Super Market Simulator

Super Market Simulator

  • Price: Free

This is another game that comes highly recommended by the wife.

Just as the name suggests, this game is all about managing and running a super market. And, similar to House Flipper, this game is completely free to play without forceful ads.

If you’ve watched Markiplier’s Super Market Simulator videos, you’ll know how fun and frustrating it can be to run your own shop.

Go check it out.

6. Clash of Clans

Clash of Clans

  • Price: Free

Can you believe this game has been around for almost 15 years? And it’s still one of the most profitable games ever made.

Clash of Clans has many addictive elements to it. Building and upgrading your town is the biggest part of the game. And then attacking other towns and defending from attacks is the second-best part of it.

You will likely login to this game multiple times per day to check in on your town, do upgrades, and attack other towns. Before long, it will actually be part of your life.

7. SimCity: Build It

SimCity Build It

  • Price: Free

I love a good city building game and SimCity: Build It has all the right, addictive elements of a great city building game.

I’ve played this game for a couple of years and still likes to start over from time to time to enjoy the grind.

The game does have some monetization elements but if you’re patient enough, you can play this game for free without succumbing to microtransactions.

8. Marvel Snap

MARVEL SNAP

  • Price: Free

I’m not a huge fan of card-battle games but things changed when I came across this game.

Marvel Snap is a fun card-battling game where you collect cards that are based on Marvel characters and build a deck to fight other players.

It’s a really fun game where you can compete with other players while getting a sense of accomplishment as you unlock rewards and new cards.

I played this game for dozens of hours without spending a single dime. You can easily play it for free too. Just stay away from the shop page.

9. Balatro

Balatro

  • Price: $9.99

This game actually won several awards for its super addictive and satisfying gameplay mechanics.

Balatro is another card game that combines some addictive mechanics to make it much more enjoyable.

You can play this game fully offline and solo. The only downside is that it’s a premium game. The price is worth it, especially if you enjoy games like Poker.

10. Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley

  • Price: $4.99

This game needs no introduction. It’s one of the most popular indie games ever made.

If you’re a fan of cozy farming and life sim games, Stardew Valley will keep you busy for hundreds of hours.

This tiny, pixel-style game packs tons of content. You can build a farm, go fishing, explore caves, get married, and do loads of stuff.

It’s difficult to just jump in and out of this game. You have to spend an entire in-game day to save progress. But an in-game day is very short so you can easily play it in short sessions.

11. Dead Cells

Dead Cells

  • Price: $4.99

Dead Cells is another pixel-art style game that packs addictive gameplay mechanics.

It’s a rogue-like game featuring side-scrolling action. It has multiple levels you can explore to level up your gear and go faster in each run.

For just $5 bucks, you’ll get tons of value in gameplay time in return.

12. Clusterduck

Clusterduck

  • Price: Free

This is an idle clicker-style game where your goal is to grow ducks and watch as they do crazy stuff.

This is a fun and chill game to play from time to time. Since it’s an idle-clicker, you can easily jump in for a quick session without missing out on progress.

These ducks have the ability to mutate, and they tend to do weird things. So keep an eye out.

13. Shadowborn

Shadowborn

  • Price: Free

This is the closest thing I’ve found to be a solid ARPG on mobile.

Shadowborn features top-down ARPG-style gameplay with satisfying combat and tons of loot. It also lets you experiment with different skill builds.

The game is free and still in early access so it’s a work a progress for now. But it has enough content to enjoy a daily grind.

14. Skyforce Reloaded

Skyforce Reloaded

  • Price: Free

This is a highly addictive game inspired by one of the classic retro games from the old Nintendo era.

Skyforce is one of my favorites for one reason: you can play it using one hand. It also has impressive graphics and gameplay that will evoke a nostalgic feeling while maintaining a modern look and feel.

15. ExoMiner

ExoMiner

  • Price: Free

I’ve played this game for years before finally uninstalling it a few months ago. Mainly because I was spending too much time on it.

In this game, you basically setup mining bases on planets to extract resources and upgrade your mines.

Examiner is an idle-clicker game, and it’s super addictive.

16. Slay the Spire

Slay the Spire

  • Price: $9.99

I personally haven’t played this game, but it comes highly recommended by my friends over on Reddit.

Slay the Spire is another card-battler game that apparently has an addictive gameplay loop. It also features a storyline and leveling system that will keep you hooked for days or months.

17. Vampire Survivors

Vampire Survivors

  • Price: Free

Vampire Survivors is easily one of the best bullet-hell games on mobile platforms. You can play this game with one hand and it has endless replayability.

The game may not be for everyone. I played it for a while but couldn’t really get into it. But I’ve heard from hundreds of folks who swear by this game.

This is actually the full version of the game and you can play it offline, completely for free.
