I don’t know why people hate grinding games. I love it! In fact, that’s the main reason I started this website.
I love grinding mobs to level up a character, grinding for better gear, and gathering tons of loot. If you’re also like me, then you will feel right at home here.
In this list, I’m covering some of the best free mobile games to grind daily at home, at work, during your commute, or basically everywhere you go.
Fair warning, these games are repetitive and also addictive. If you’re a fan of grinding mobile games, you probably won’t have a problem with that.
Dive in and see if you’ve played any of these titles, which are available on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
1. Torchlight: Infinite

Torchlight: Infinite is a highly addictive ARPG that runs great on even some of the older phones.
I’ve played this game on and off for a while and the process of creating a character and progressing through to the endgame has always been fun.
Torchlight: Infinite is riddled with pay-to-win gacha mechanics. But it’s not mandatory. You can always enjoy the game as a free-to-play player.
The game also features cross-play, allowing you to play it on both PC and mobile using the same account.
I often login from my phone to grind mobs to level up and farm resources. Combat in the game is really fun so it doesn’t always feel like a grind.
2. Albion Online

It’s been a while since I’ve played Albion Online, but the game is still in a great spot.
Albion Online is an MMORPG that features PVP and lifeskilling. This game also features cross-play between PC and mobile.
This is one of the games I often recommend as a Runescape alternative, as it shares some aspects with games like OSRS.
As a PVE-only player, I managed to avoid PVP most of the time I played this game. I enjoyed the lifeskilling aspect of this game. Grinding for stuff to sell in the marketplace is one of my favorite things to do in the game.
3. Black Desert Mobile

Black Desert Mobile is completely different from Black Desert Online. It features the same style of lifeskilling and cool combat, but the locations and progression feel different from BDO.
Black Desert Mobile, however, has the best part of BDO and that is the grind. You have grind mobs to level up and farm resources. And I used to play this game just to feel that dopamine rush of grinding and leveling up.
Black Desert Mobile has an auto-combat feature as well. This allows you to take your character to a grind location and have it auto-combat mobs without having to press any buttons. So your character will always be grinding, even when you’re not playing the game.
4. Where Winds Meet

Where Winds Meet is one of the newest MMORPGs that became a hit in late 2025. This game has amazing graphics and gameplay, so you might need a decent phone to run it.
I played and enjoyed the game on PC but haven’t had the chance to try it on mobile. From what I’ve gathered, the game is basically the same on both platforms.
Where Winds Meet has a good story and impressive combat with big boss battles and open-world exploration. As usual, you also have to grind mobs to level up your character and gear as well.
5. Delta Force

Delta Force is a multiplayer FPS that runs great on even low-end devices.
You might be wondering what it’s doing on a list of grinding mobile games. Well, in addition to its battlefield-style multiplayer mode, Delta Force also has a mode called Operations.
Operations is an extraction shooter game mode where you jump into a map, loot treasure, and extract. It sounds boring but it is highly addictive.
I’ve played Delta Force non-stop and even as a non-PVP player, I enjoyed the PVP in the Operations mode. That rush of risking it all for the loot is exhilarating.
6. Arena Breakout

Arena Breakout is another extraction shooter game that plays similarly to the Delta Force Operations mode. Except Arena Breakout features much more realistic gameplay mechanics.
Arena Breakout takes inspiration from Escape from Tarkov and shares some of its realistic and brutal gameplay mechanics.
If you enjoy extraction shooters, Arena Breakout will give you more of a challenge. Farming gear, treasure, and looting other players is the most addictive part of this game. And you can grind it out as much as you want every day.
7. Warframe Mobile

Warframe is one of my all-time favorite games, and it’s now available on mobile.
Warframe is well-known as one of the grindiest games ever made. It has more than 50 frames and hundreds of weapons you can grind to craft.
More importantly, though, Warframe has engaging combat and a story that will keep you engaged. The game also has free-to-play safe monetization.
Warframe is a game you can play daily for a quick grinding session. There will always be resources to farm or blueprints to build in this game.
iOS version of Warframe is already available and the Android version is expected to come out very soon.
8. Raven2

Raven2 is one of the newest MMORPGs released on both mobile and PC platforms. The game has mixed reactions from players for now, but overall it looks like a great game for players who appreciate the grind.
Raven2 does fan service quite well. Just a quick search on YouTube will show you the wild character skins available in the cash shop.
Other than that, this game also has auto-combat. That makes Raven2 a great game to play on your phone or second screen while working or studying. It will auto-grind mobs while you do other tasks.
9. Clash of Clans

Clash of Clans is one of the GOATs of mobile games. It has survived for more than a decade and it’s still going strong.
Clash of Clans has a different style of grinding mechanic where you get to invade the towns of other players to farm gold and resources. You bring back the resources to upgrade your town and level up.
Clash of Clans has grown a lot over the years with new content and multiplayer modes. Since it’s also small in size, you can always have it installed on your phone.
10. Once Human

Once Human is another game that I enjoyed on PC. It’s also available on mobile platforms.
Once Human is a third-person shooter featuring weird creatures, zombies, and boss battles. It also has lots of grinding for loot and materials as well as blueprints.
You then use these materials to upgrade your gear and build. You can also build a base and decorate it as well.
Once Human has a big install size so make sure to have enough space on your phone before installing.
11. Arknights: Endfield

Arknights: Endfield is one of the newest gacha games launched on PC and mobile. This game gained high praise from players for its addictive and fun grinding mechanics.
This game has team-based combat, character customization, and all the usual you can expect from Genshin-style gacha games. Additionally, it also features a factory building system as well.
I’m yet to play this game, so I can’t give you my rating, but from the initial impressions, it looks like a decent gacha game to enjoy on your phone.
12. Nonstop Knight 2

If you’re looking for a simple, fun, and casual game to grind with one hand, this game is perfect for you.
Both Nonstop Knight 1 and 2 are great, casual games that feature auto-battle features. This allows your character to grind mobs and level up even when you’re offline.
Compared to other games, Nonstop Knight is very light on terms of content and customizations. But it’s a fun game to play in short sessions.
