games like schedule 1

I loved Schedule 1 so much that I was sad when I reached the ending.

I kept replaying it by creating new saves and trying different approaches, and I’m still playing it every day. But I just can’t get enough of it.

So I went looking for games similar to Schedule 1 with the same mechanics, like growing or farming stuff, making products, and selling them. Unfortunately, there are very few games that come close to what Schedule 1 offers.

In this list, I wanted to try and showcase the best games like Schedule 1 that let you start from scratch and build an empire. Some of these are simulator games, and some are RPGs.

While they aren’t exactly like Schedule 1, they are still fun to play.

1. Cash Only (Upcoming)

cash only

Cash Only is the only game that comes close to what Schedule 1 offers in terms of the weed growing mechanics, production, and the sales aspects. It clearly shows where it got its inspiration from.

However, there are some differences in this game. In Cash Only, you run a coffee shop. But during the night, you deal in other products. You also do all the work of growing plants, making the products, and doing the dead drops as well.

You can also do some funny business during the day while running the coffee shop. You can secretly grind your weed products into the coffee to get people addicted.

Cash Only is not out yet. It’s aiming for a Q4 2026 release on Steam. It’s basically Schedule 1 with a coffee shop simulator on the side, which seems to be a pretty cool combo.

2. Scarface: The World Is Yours

Scarface The World Is Yours

This is the original drug dealer game that inspired all the other simulators we have today. Scarface: The World Is Yours was made back in the good old days when games used to be daring and fun.

This game acts as a direct sequel to the iconic movie, Scarface. It picks up where the movie left off but keeps Tony Montana alive. You lose everything and have to start from scratch. You need to make deals with dealers and make money selling them to customers.

The game even features voiceovers from Al Pacino. It has a fully open, GTA-style open world with loads of activities and things to do, like buying cars, yachts, and even tigers.

Unfortunately, Scarface: The World Is Yours is not available to purchase anymore. But, if you know how to safely sail the high seas, there are other means to get a copy of this game. Or get a PS2 copy from eBay.

3. Drug Dealer Simulator 2

Drug Dealer Simulator 2

When Schedule 1 first came out, the creators of Drug Dealer Simulator claimed that it copied their game. They even tried to take Schedule 1 to court.

The truth is, Drug Dealer Simulator does share many of the core concepts of Schedule 1. And it did come out first. Way before Schedule 1. Although Drug Dealer Simulator is very rough around the edges. It tried to offer a realistic experience that just wasn’t fun to play.

The sequel, Drug Dealer Simulator 2, actually looks much better. It’s an improvement to the original game in many ways and allows you to run and control an entire drug dealer empire on your own.

This game has all the core mechanics of Schedule 1 and more. The map is bigger, police are better, enemies are tougher, and the rival gangs are always out to get you.

4. Weed Shop 3

Weed Shop 3

Weed Shop is another great game like Schedule 1 that offers a similar vibe with extra added features, like running your own weed shop.

In this game, you get to grow crops, make your own products, and sell them in your store. It also has automation like Schedule 1 where you can hire workers to run a production process.

Additionally, you can deal with rivals and take them down. You can also meet influencers to promote your shop and products to boost sales.

Weed Shop 3 has a good balance of addictive and fun gameplay mechanics that offer smooth progression, making every gameplay session feel like time well spent.

5. Weed Supermarket Simulator

Weed Supermarket Simulator

This is a different kind of simulator experience that shares some mechanics from Schedule 1 but in a different way. Think of this game as a shop simulator, but the main product is weed.

Growing crops, packaging, and handling are only a minor part of this game. Managing the store is the main aspect of Weed Supermarket Simulator. You have to stock the shelves, man the counter, hire workers to clean the store, and expand when it’s time to grow.

If you enjoy supermarket sims, this game can be fun as it has an added system of growing crops and making products.

6. Big Ambitions

Big Ambitions

Big Ambitions isn’t necessarily a drug dealer simulator. It’s actually a business management simulator that takes place in New York.

In the game, you start broke doing small jobs like deliveries and slowly make your way to the top to own big businesses. It’s a grindy game with good progression mechanics.

Even though it doesn’t involve growing weed and making products, it does have all the other addictive aspects of a simulator that will get you hooked.

This game is highly addictive and has much deeper levels of progression that unlock as you level up.

7. Thief Simulator

Thief Simulator

Stealing is wrong and has dire consequences. But it’s kind of fun to do that kind of stuff in video games. I especially enjoyed the stealing system in GTA San Andreas, where you can break into houses at night. This game is actually a bit similar to that.

In Thief Simulator, you get to be a professional thief. You don’t just go and break into houses. You have to scout the area, plan your every move, and then finally get into the action.

It’s a stealthy game, and in a way, it’s just like sneaking at night in Schedule 1 to sell products. Thief Simulator 2 is also out, and 3 is coming out soon. But the original game is still the best.

8. Satisfactory

Satisfactory game

Satisfactory is a factory automation game that has nothing to do with Schedule 1 or drug dealing. But this is one of the most addictive games I’ve played and deserve a spot on this list. Mainly because after my Schedule 1 addiction, Satisfactory is the game that kept me from relapsing.

In Satisfactory, your goal is to explore a massive map and build a massive factory to create and send products to space. At first glance, this game did not look that much fun and I kept putting off playing it for years. Until I finally tried it and I couldn’t stop playing it.

If you liked the automation aspect of Schedule 1, Satisfactory is perfect for you.

9. The Boss Gangster

The Boss Gangster

Boss Gangster takes a different approach with its gameplay mechanics, featuring a top-down isometric view and a wide variety of gameplay features.

Basically, in this game, you get to roleplay a mafia boss by building your own underworld empire. You can build and manage criminal businesses like weed warehouses, nightclubs, do jobs, and even automate production.

This game reminded me of the classic GTA games. It shares many similarities. Except with a more focus on crime and business management.

10. Dirty Business

Dirty Business

Dirty Business is all about the production side of running a drug dealing empire. In this game, you get to manage the production side without worrying about the sales side. That can also be a bad thing to some players.

In this game, you get to grow weed, harvest, make products, and package them for your business. But unlike Schedule 1, you don’t get to go out and sell your products to customers. That happens automatically.

To me, selling products and dealing with customers was the fun part of Schedule 1. But I also loved the automation process. This game only satisfies the production aspect. And that’s okay because it does that part quite well. You get to craft stuff, scale your business, and hire workers to automate as well.

11. TCG Card Shop Simulator

TCG Card Shop Simulator

This is not just another shop simulator game. This is an extremely addictive one. In TCG Card Shop Simulator, you manage a shop that sells Pokemon-style card packs, which is actually considered worse than drug dealing.

The shop management, stocking shelves, and processing orders are the core part of the game. But it also allows you to open card packs and collect them. And you can also set tables to play card games with customers.

TCG Card Shop Simulator is a great shop simulator game, and it has highly addictive features too. It can be a great alternative to play when you get burned out from Schedule 1.

12. Roadhouse Simulator

Roadhouse Simulator

Roadhouse Simulator is a lot like a pub simulator. The game takes inspiration from the iconic movie for some elements, but in most part, the gameplay is mostly about managing the pub.

You start small as a bouncer and slowly work your way up to be a bartender, pour beer, and then own the place. Gradually, you get to automate the whole process and make money doing other things, like making your own liquor, delivering cargo, and even bribing the police to keep them off your back.

This game has its flaws and can be buggy at times. If you’re willing to play past those minor mishaps, Roadhouse Simulator can be a fun alternative to Schedule 1.
