Apparently, AION 2 is 36 times bigger than the original game, and it’s completely open world.
Flight is an important aspect of this MMORPG, and it sounds like you will be able to fly around and explore this gigantic world in your own terms.
With recent impressive releases from Chinese and Korean developers, like Crimson Desert and Where Winds Meet, AION 2 has to deliver an incredible experience to meet player expectations.
NC Soft has a history of bad game releases so hopefully AION 2 will be the game that allows them to redeem themselves in the gaming community.
AION 2 was initially released in South Korea in November 2025. The developers have already rolled out a few content updates to the game, and it will launch globally with all these patches and updates, so it will hopefully be a smooth experience for players around the world.
AION 2 has content for both solo and team-based players, ranging from dungeons to raids. It features a story that takes place 200 years after the events of the original game.
