NTE Neverness to Everness (1)

NTE (Neverness To Everness) is the trending gacha game right now that is challenging even the most established titles from veteran developers like HoYoverse.

At launch, more than 30 million players had pre-registered to play the game across platforms, globally. And now, we have the numbers to back up how well it’s performing.

According to a Chinese revenue report shared by Reddit user Resident-Bridge2731, NTE has already surpassed $14 million in revenue, and that’s just on launch day!

The report also shows that the majority of the revenue comes from PC and PlayStation, 75% to be exact, while the remainder was spread across other platforms.

This is a bit surprising since for most gacha games, the highest revenue-earning platforms are mostly mobile platforms. But it seems a shift is happening with the release of these high-quality gacha games, as players are choosing to play them on desktop platforms to enjoy the visuals and immersiveness beyond the smaller screens.

The GachaRevenue website, which tracks revenue of gacha games across iOS and Android platforms, shows that, as of May 13th 2026, NTE has earned over $6.7 million in revenue.

NTE (Neverness To Everness) is only the first of many advanced and high-quality gacha games releasing on PC soon. More incredible gachas, like Ananta, are expected to shake the gacha genre in the coming months.

NTE and its huge open world featuring GTA-style activities and customizations won over even the casual gamers and introduced many newcomers to the gacha genre (including myself).

NTE Neverness to Everness (3)

I’ve only dabbled in Genshin Impact for a bit at launch before abandoning the game and never played another gacha game since. But after trying out NTE for a while, I’m fully addicted to the game and its world.

It’s exciting to see high-quality games like NTE being released these days as free-to-play titles, when even triple-A studios fail to deliver decent games at a $70 price tag.
