Crimson Desert has been dominating single-player game charts over the past few months.
The massively open-world single-player title managed to maintain a steady player count, even two months after its initial release, which is quite impressive for a story-based game.
Things are about get even more heated up as the developers have now teased a brand new DLC for the game.
According to the latest developer update, this new DLC will likely drop sometime between June and September of 2026.

This dev update highlighted several key new features coming to the game.
Story Improvements: The biggest addition to coming to the game is the overhauled scenes in the story campaign. This will greatly enhance the campaign experience for both new and existing players.
Cross-Save: With cross-save enabled, players will be able to play the same save across multiple platforms. If you have the game on PC and PS5, you can continue playing your campaign on both platforms.
New Combat Content: Players will get more new content centered around combat, hopefully new open-world encounters and boss battles.
Re-Blockade Update: Re-Blockade is also getting overhauled with new improvements as well as better rewards.
Damiane & Oongka Gameplay Improvements: The overall gameplay experience for the two characters is also getting enhanced, especially to allow the three characters to share the spotlight as equals.
Quality of Life Improvements for Non-Combat Content: Trading, farming, and various other systems are also being improved to offer a much smoother experience to all players.
These are some of the noteworthy content in the works for the June-September 2026 period.
“We plan to roll these updates out gradually from June through September, and we’re preparing them to be enjoyable both for those who have spent many hours in Pywel and for those who are just beginning their journey.”
Various other bug fixes and new content will also be added to the same as well. Are you guys excited?
