By 2K and Gearbox are officially preparing for the release of Borderlands 4 and the pre-orders are now live!
There were quite a bit of controversy happening around Borderlands 4 over the past few weeks when the Gearbox CEO, Randy Pitchford, announced that the game might cost $80 at release.
Players were not happy about this news, understandably so.
However, you’ll be happy to hear that it won’t be the case. Borderlands 4 will be released at $69.99 for the standard edition!
As usual, Borderlands 4 will also launch with 3 different editions. This time, the Deluxe and Super Deluxe editions will include 4 unique areas and missions, which will come as DLCs in the future, along with gear and cosmetics.
The Deluxe edition will cost $99.99, and $129.99 for the Super Deluxe Editions.
Everyone who pre-orders the game will get the Gilded Glory Pack.
Borderlands 4 is releasing on Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox X/S, and PS4 on on September 12, 2025.
