By After 2 full years in early access, Enshrouded is finally getting ready for its 1.0 release.
And it’s happening this year in Autumn 2026!
Enshrouded received overwhelmingly positive feedback from players for its vibrant, engaging, and interactive gameplay experience.
Over the past two years, the game received a number of massive updates, expansions, and tons of patches fixing and optimizing the game.
2025 was the best year for Enshrouded as it celebrated over 5 million players. And it already has over 19K daily active players on Steam.
The developers announced that the game is now in its final stretch and ready to come out of its early access.
In the next few months, the game will receive a bunch of smaller updates and patches to optimize performance and balancing changes to get ready for the 1.0 release.
There is no exact release date yet for Enshrouded, but 1.0 will be released in Autumn 2026, followed by a console release.
In a quick video, the developers also outlined their plans for content post 1.0 launch, including plans for paid DLC expansions, as a way to monetize the game going forward.
This news got me excited and decided to reinstall the game and check it out how it’s doing. I’ll share more updates soon.
